Settings guide for Opinioner 2.0 WordPress Plugin

Opinioner 2.0 WordPress Plugin allows you to ask questions to readers of articles and evaluates the answers. In this article, you will learn how to install and configure the plugin. And also, how to create and publish your first poll.

In the plugin settings, there are several tabs responsible for various groups of plugin settings.

General settings

Chart height

Use the slider to specify the height of the voting graph.

Line width

Use the slider to specify the line weight of the graph.

Line smoothness

The smoothness of the graph can be adjusted using this setting. The higher this number, the smoother the graph curve will be.

Smoothness = 100

The smoothness parameter can also be used to increase the weight of each voice. The recommendation is that if you expect a lot of voters, put a number less. If you expect fewer votes, set a large smooth.

Key color

Select a base color of the chart line using the color picker

Text color

Select a text color of the chart using the color picker.

Background color

Select the background color of the chart using the color picker.

Border color

Select the border color of the chart using the color picker.

Border radius

Use the slider to specify the border radius of the graph.

Social share buttons

Select the required social network from the list. The links to the selected social networks will appear in the lower-left part of the voting block.

Voting

Change of opinion

The toggle to enable/disable the ability to update/change user voting results.

Open voting

The toggle to enable/disable voting results display before a new user votes.

Message before vote

This message will be displayed before the user votes. This message will be hidden immediately after the user has shifted the voting slider in any direction.

Message after vote

This message will be shown after the user votes and is hidden after 3 seconds.

Voting limit

This parameter sets the limit of votes from one IP address. You can select any number in the range from 1 to 10.

Limit exceeded message

A field that allows you to change the message text when the user exceeds the vote limit.

Reset results

The button resets all rating data for all posts. Use this button after the site debugging is completed to reset the debug rating data ​​to 0.

Please note that the Data reset cannot be undone.

Save Changes

Do not forget to click Save Changes after changing plugin settings. After clicking this button, the settings will be saved and applied to all pages of the website.
