Coronar WordPress plugin Settings

The Coronar is a WordPress plugin designed for tracking the data of coronavirus. Now the world is fighting an outbreak of the virus, and all people want up-to-date data on this epidemic in order to protect themselves and be on the alert. The plugin provides the display of total/new confirmed cases of infection, data on recovery and death for all countries.

Go to Coronar>Settings in the WordPress Sidebar menu to open the plugin settings.

Coronar Settings

In the Coronar WordPress Plugin settings, there are several tabs responsible for various groups of plugin settings.

General Settings

The General tab contains basic settings, such as cache lifetime and label management.

  • Cache Lifetime – the option allows you to set the caching time of your data. The higher the value, the less the load on the hosting and the lower the relevance of the data. Press “Clear Cache” button to reset cache and download fresh data.
  • Show Search – the toggle to enable/disable the data table responsiveness.
  • Responsive Tables – the toggle to enable/disable the search field in the data table
  • Label for Flag – enter the text to replace the default label of Flag column
  • Label for Country – enter the text to replace the default label of Country column
  • Label for New Confirmed – enter the text to replace the default label of New Confirmed column
  • Label for Total Confirmed – enter the text to replace the default label of Total Confirmed column
  • Label for New Deaths – enter the text to replace the default label of New Deaths column
  • Label for Total Deaths – enter the text to replace the default label of Total Deaths column
  • Label for New Recovered – enter the text to replace the default label of New Recovered column
  • Label for Total Recovered – enter the text to replace the default label of Total Recovered column
  • Label for Chart Confirmed – enter the text to replace the default label of Chart Confirmed column
  • Label for Chart Deaths – enter the text to replace the default label of Chart Deaths column
  • Label for Chart Recovered – enter the text to replace the default label of Chart Recovered column

Style settings

The Style tab contains styles and display settings of the statistics table. Select the font colors and size, background, flag size, etc.

Accent Color

Specify the font color and opacity for text using the color picker.

Background Color

Specify the background color and opacity for the stats table using the color picker.

Confirmed Color

Specify the font color and opacity for text of data types Confirmed using the color picker.

Deaths Color

Specify the font color and opacity for text of data types Deaths using the color picker.

Recovered Color

Specify the font color and opacity for text of data types Recovered using the color picker.

Shadow

The toggle to enable/disable the outer shadow for the data table

Margin

This option allows you to control the margin of the data in the table. Here you can set the value from 0 to 100 pixels using the slider.

Padding

This option allows you to control the padding of the data in the table. Here you can set the value from 0 to 100 pixels using the slider.

Border Radius

The option allows you to adjust the border radius for the table.

Font Size

Select one of the available font sizes for text. Absolute font size, based on default font size (which is medium).

Flag Size

This option allows you to control the country flag size to display in the table. Here you can set the value from 0 to 256 pixels using the slider.

Map settings

  • API Key – a field for adding your own API key. The key is required if you want to use a shortcode to add an interactive map based on information about the coronavirus.
  • Land Color – specify the land color and opacity on the map using the color picker.
  • Water Color – specify the water color and opacity on the map using the color picker.

Save Changes

Do not forget to click Save Changes after changing plugin settings. After clicking this button, the settings will be saved and applied to all pages of the website.
